Halloween- October 31st
Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to school on Friday, October 31st . Baker School will be having a K-5th grade parade outside on the basketball courts at 8:30 a.m. Families may join us on the playground at 8:30 to take photographs. Parents must stand in one of the four corners of the playground. First graders will stand along the fence near the basketball court. We will parade inside the entire circle. After the parade, your child will change back into his/ her school clothes. Please pack clothes and school shoes in the bag.
1. Students may bring props but weapons are not allowed as part of the costume.
2. Students may wear make up but teachers will not apply or remove during school.
3. Label each piece of your child’s costume with your name. We want to make sure each piece is returned to you for your trick-or-treating later that night.
Evidence based on observations
Based on the first graders evidence observing they were able to make a claim. Please plant your new grass outside in your lawn or keep it inside by a window. Don't forget to water it.
We have begun our sound inquiry unit.
